Richard A. Knaak

Richard A. Knaak is the New York Times bestselling author of some three dozen novels, including the The Sin War trilogy for Diablo and the Legend of Huma for Dragonlance.

He has penned the War of the Ancients trilogy, Day of the Dragon and its followup, Night of the Dragon.

His other works include his own Dragonrealm series, the Minotaur Wars for Dragonlance, the Aquilonia trilogy of the Age of Conan, and the Sunwell Trilogy -- the first Warcraft manga.

Knaak's new book is World of Warcraft: Stormrage.

Last month I asked him what he was reading. His reply:
While my reading time is limited, I've recently read The Light of Burning Shadows, the second book in Chris Evans' Iron Elves series. I was asked to do a blurb for the first book and was so caught up in the tale I looked forward to reading the second as soon as I could. The mix of Napoleonic politics with traditional fantasy elements made for a fascinating read. I also enjoyed the look into the prejudices surrounding soldiers whose loyalties are questioned just because of their race. At the same time, a terrific adventure.
