Vivian's new novel is The Last Boy and Girl in the World.
Recently I asked the author about what she was reading. Her reply:
Between You & Me by Mary NorrisVisit Siobhan Vivian's website.
Oh gosh, how I adore this book. And though this is primarily a book about grammar, it is anything but dry. I fell in love with Mary’s voice from the very first page, as she traces her path as a girl in Cleveland, OH to the offices of The New Yorker, where she has worked as a copyeditor for over 30 years. She is laugh out loud funny, not to mention whip smart. As soon as I am finished, this book is going straight onto my favorites shelf.
